UNCASVILLE – The
New England Black Wolves will be holding open auditions for its dance team, The Howlers, this coming Saturday, Oct.
14. The Howlers perform at all home games throughout the season as well as any
possible playoff games. Dancers also appear at team events and in the
community.
Auditions will be held from 10 a.m.-12 noon at the Cabaret
at Mohegan Sun, with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. Dancers must be 18
years of age or older, and have previous dance training in jazz and hip-hop. All
tryout participants will take part in a technique class and learn a routine
that they will then perform. This audition is closed to the public.
A $20 non-refundable registration fee is required, and persons
trying out must provide a non-returnable headshot and current dance resume.
Dancers should wear two-piece dance attire, jazz shoes or dance sneakers, and
have performance-ready hair and makeup.

Mascot Tryout, Too
In addition, the Wolves will hold tryouts for a “dynamic
personality” to be its mascot, Hunter, throughout the upcoming season. Mascot
tryouts will also be held on Saturday at the Cabaret Theatre. Registration
begins at 1 p.m. and auditions promptly at 1:30 p.m.
Applicable candidates will have a minimum of one year of
experience as a mascot at the collegiate, minor league or professional level.
They should be able to communicate nonverbally and create memorable experiences
for fans of all ages and abilities. This audition is closed to the public.

trying out must provide a non-returnable headshot and current resume.
Candidates must be able to commit to the entire 2018 Black Wolves home schedule,
and be athletic and physically fit. The ability to dance and tumble is a plus.

Season Tickets On
Sale
2018 season tickets are now on sale and start at $17 per
game. In addition, special on-field experiences are available for groups of 10
