HARTFORD—Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Chris Drury announced today that the Wolf Pack, the AHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, has released defenseman Derek Pratt from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement.
Pratt was on the Wolf Pack roster for two games, after joining the club on Thursday, and did not see any action. In 44 games with the Wolf Pack’s East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) affiliate, the Maine Mariners, the rookie out of the UConn has two goals and 11 assists for 13 points, and has served 60 minutes in penalties.
The Wolf Pack’s next action will be on Friday night when
they host the Springfield Thunderbirds at 7:15 p.m. at the XL Center. As with
all Friday-night Wolf Pack home games, there will be $1 hot dogs and $2 beers
and fountain sodas available through the start of the second period, presented
by Nomads Adventure Quest.
