The “Crit” continues to develop and attract more riders each
year and welcomes back Laura Summers, event promoter and well-respected member
of the bike racing community. In 2018, Laura developed a new event format and
added junior races, and these will be continued after their extraordinary
success.
Last year, the “Crit” had hundreds of participants from all
over New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and beyond to take part
in the exciting day of races. “What I like most about this event is how it focuses
on the ‘big picture’,” said Laura Summers, event promoter. “It strives to see
all different types of people attend—from men to women to children—which makes
for a more inclusive environment.”
