NEW BRITAIN – The New Britain Bees have the club’s 2017 Spring Training schedule. The Bees, members of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball—widely acknowledged as the top independent minor league circuit in the country—will play three exhibition contests against local Connecticut amateur teams as a warm up for the Atlantic League regular season which kicks off on Fri., Apr. 21, at New Britain Stadium. Following is the schedule of exhibitions (all games to be played at New Britain Stadium):
- Thurs., Apr. 13, vs. the Milford Hunters, 6:35 p.m.
- Fri., Apr. 14, vs. the Connecticut Twilight League All-Stars, 6:05 p.m.
- Sat., Apr. 15, vs. the Greater Hartford Twilight Baseball League All-Stars, 1:35 p.m.

All Bees Spring Training exhibitions are free and open to
the public. Outside food is permitted during the exhibition season, but no
alcohol may be brought into New Britain Stadium. The New Britain Stadium Box
Office, as well as B. Hive & Co., the team’s official store, will be open
during every spring training game. Practices are closed to the public.
Open Tryouts will take place on Tue., Apr. 11, from 6 p.m.-8
p.m. at New Britain Stadium. Registration is $75 in advance, or $100 on the day
