Bluefish Announce 2017 Promotions

The popular "Kids Run the Bases" promotion will
return after each Sunday afternoon game.

BRIDGEPORT –  The Bridgeport Bluefish have announced their 2017 Promotional Schedule, is highlighted by seven fireworks shows, giveaways, and theme nights designed to attract a wide variety of fans to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. In fact, there will be a special promotion for each day of the week:

• On Make a Difference Mondays, the Bluefish will team up with Dot Generation and local non-profit organizations to bring baseball fans out to the ballpark (excluding July 3).
• Tuesdays will be Kids Eat Cheap Tuesdays, presented by Boar’s Head. Children 12 and under will receive a hot dog, chips, and fountain drink for $2 (excepting July 4 and July 18).
• On Wednesday Friendsday, special group options will be offered. In addition, each Wednesday night game will feature a special edition Bluefish bobblehead.
• Thirsty Thursdays return featuring exclusive beer specials (excluding Aug. 10).
• Freebie Fridays will feature a wide array of Bluefish giveaway items.
• Summer Saturdays will feature fireworks or premium giveaways.
• Sunday Family Fundays return offering kids the chance to run the bases right after the game. In addition, Bluefish players will be signing autographs on the main concourse. (Note: On Sept. 3, festivities will take place after the second game).

“The Bluefish are beyond excited to celebrate our 20^th Anniversary Season, so we wanted to make this year’s promotional schedule our best one yet,” said Bluefish General Manager Paul Herrmann. “Our staff has worked tirelessly throughout the off-season to ensure that it offers something for everyone.”

Single-game tickets are now on sale and available at the Bluefish Box Office at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, as well as online at www.bridgeportbluefish.com. On non-game days, the Box Office will be open Mon.-Fri. from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The box office will be closed on non-game weekend days. On game days, the box office will be open from 9 a.m. until the beginning of the seventh inning on weekdays, and on Saturday and Sunday it will be open from 10 a.m. until the beginning of the seventh inning.
