BRIDGEPORT–The New York Islanders have announced that Chris Terreri has
been named the goaltending development coach and goalie coach for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.Terreri will work with goaltenders throughout the Islanders
organization, including those playing with the club’s minor league affiliates
and amateur prospects. He will also serve the team in a scouting capacity.
A Warwick, RI, native, Terreri starred at Providence
College, where he was named the first Player of the Year in Hockey East
history after the 1984-85 season. He was also named the league’s all-time topgoaltender as part of Hockey East’s 25th Anniversary celebration in 2008.

Devils coaching staff, including the last eight as the Devils’ goaltending
coach. As a player, Terreri played 406 games in the NHL with New Jersey, San
