The University of Connecticut Huskies, along with the Mets, of course, have long been a staple on SNY. And while the UConn men's football program has been struggling—an issue the Connecticut athletic department hopes will be rectified with the return of Randy Edsall to the head coaching position—and the men's basketball program has also been challenged lately, the Huskies women's basketball program has been on top of the world... and SNY has been a major beneficiary of their good fortunes.
