Wolf Pack Announce 2017-18 Promotions

HARTFORD–The Hartford Wolf Pack , members of the American Hockey League, the highest level minor league in North American professional hockey, have announced their promotional schedule for the 2017-18 campaign. 

There will be dates featuring giveaways and/or special theme promotions, starting with Opening Night on Fri., Oct. 6 vs. the Charlotte Checkers. That game will include a Wolf Pack magnetic schedule giveaway, presented by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. First puck drops at 7:15 p.m. In addition, the Wolf Pack are offering an “Opening Night Ticket Package.” This includes one red section ticket, one complimentary voucher for a red section ticket for any game in October, November, or December, and one $5 Dunkin' Donuts gift card for $30.

A Thanksgiving weekend game will take place on Sat., Nov. 25, vs. the Hershey Bears featuring the Wolf Pack’s annual “Teddy Bear Toss” benefiting Toys for Tots and Operation ELF. The Wolf Pack will also “Red Out” the rink that night with a red T-shirt giveaway presented by the Connecticut Department of Transportation.  Faceoff is 7 p.m.

The Wolf Pack’s holiday season includes a trading card set giveaway Sat., Dec. 23—the ’Pack’s last home game before Christmas—vs. their in-state archrivals, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Faceoff is at 3 p.m. There also will be a winter hat giveaway on Sat., Dec. 30—the last home game in 2017—vs. the Springfield Thunderbirds. First puck drops at 7 p.m

The promotional calendar continues into 2018 with a weekend promotion called “Hartford Hockey Heritage Weekend.” On Fri., Feb. 23, the Hershey Bears will be in town for a 7:15 p.m. match-up, and the following night, the Providence Bruins will visit the XL Center for a 7 p.m. game. Both will feature bobblehead giveaways.  In addition, Sat., Mar. 3 vs. Providence is “Military Day”featuring a distinctive “dog tag” giveaway.

In addition to these single-night promotions, the Wolf Pack will be reprising their ongoing Friday night food and beverage specials presented by Dave & Buster’s. Every Friday night game will featuer $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period.  “Click It or Ticket” Family Value Packs are also available once again for all Sunday and Wednesday games, including two tickets, two hot dogs and two soft drinks for $40.  Also, every Wednesday-night home game is still “Winning Wednesday.”  If the Wolf Pack win, fans can show their Winning Wednesday ticket at the Agera Energy Ticket Office at the XL Center and receive a free ticket to the next Wolf Pack home game.
