HARTFORD—The Hartford Wolf Pack announced that the New
York Rangers have reassigned forward Ty Ronning to the Wolf Pack from the team’s
ECHL affiliate, the Maine Mariners. Ronning, a second-year pro out of the Western Hockey League and
seventh-round draft pick by the Rangers in 2016 (No. 201 overall), has
skated in four games this year with the Mariners and is second on the team in
goals scored and third in points, with 3-2-5.
Ronning, a 22-year-old, 5-9, 178-lb, Scottsdale, Ariz., native,
played 23 games with the Wolf Pack last season, scoring four goals and adding
one assist for five points, and also suited up for 25 contests with the
Mariners, for whom he scored 12 goals with 10 helpers for 22 points.
The Wolf Pack return
to action tonight when they host the Laval Rocket. First puck drops at 7:15 p.m
at the XL Center. Once again this season, all Friday Wolf Pack home games
feature $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period,
presented by Nomads Adventure Quest.
