PROVIDENCE—The American Atletic
Conference and SIDEARM Sports have
collaborated on a redesign of the conference’s website, TheAmerican.org, and have launched a
conference-branded mobile app for fans to follow the conference and it’s member
institutions.
“We are proud to partner with
SIDEARM Sports to launch our redesigned website,” said American Athletic
Conference commissioner Mike Aresco. “Our goal with this redesign is to make it
easier than ever for our fans to gain access to the most important and
up-to-date information about the American Athletic Conference and its member
schools. We could not be happier with SIDEARM's implementation of our feedback
and their production of an extremely attractive site that is functional across
all platforms.”
The website features full
integration with The American’s social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and
Instagram and houses the full archive of highlights and original features from
the American Digital Network.
The American’s mobile app allows
users a quick and efficient way to get the latest scores, statistics and
stories on The American, while accessing the latest content from the American
Digital Network. Fans may customize the app to showcase their favorite sports
and may opt in to receive push notifications for live American Digital Network
game productions or other conference news.
The mobile app can be downloaded
for free on Apple devices through the App Store and on Android devices through
Google Play by searching for ‘American Athletic Conference.’
The American Athletic Conference
has worked in collaboration with SIDEARM Sports since the formation of the
conference in 2013.
